Acrylic vs Glass: What to choose?

Acrylic vs Glass: What to choose?

Material comparison

Acrylic (plexiglass) is lighter and more impact-resistant than glass of the same thickness, with excellent clarity for displays.

Glass may be preferred for extreme scratch resistance in some industrial cases; acrylic wins for transport, fabrication speed, and laser processing.

Practical notes

We often prototype with offcuts before ordering full sheets for display cases.
